Sure it aint as luxurious but it sure is a blast to drive and suprer simple to work on and cheap as hell. lol

Awesome! would love to see some videos of this beast all done up!

My dad has an 04 ZO6 he bought brand new in 04, amazing car, without a doubt will be my next purchase, cant get a bigger bang for the buck.
imo the C5 is the best looking body style, theres just something about it.

So after speaking with Eurocharged it seems we can get a significant power boost with an E85 kit. So if it dont sell soon I may drop the $4500 on the E85 conversion.

So anyone interested in the car its listed for $105k lots of places but I will give members here a mind bending discount should they want the car. Like enough to buy a used C300 kind of discount.

I have grown bored and am ready for the next project.

It won't sell anywhere close to $100k. I would not go with E85. Your car needs an aftermarket ECU so you can run more air through the engine and really enjoy what those turbos can do for you.

If you are a potential buyer feel free to make an offer. If not, dont tell me what it will or will not sell for.

For air the issue has been resolved. Its currently running 19.8psi and can run more. E85 will allow for a substantial jump in power. Granted this is just from guys who know these cars in and out and build them all day every day, so what do they know.

I would like to say to those non bashers in here, if you are interested in the car hit me up with an offer. Be realistic. If its 60k dont bother but if you have a serious offer I am open to making someone a killer deal. I am ready to start on the next project but made a promise that I wont start it till this one is sold. Kinda already broke that with new wheels and tires being made for the new toy but it is what it is. lol

Car has new brakes and has a 2 year warranty on the new MB installed AC system from last week. All the mods have around 1100 miles on them. Car has a couple minor rock chips but thats it. No dings, no dents, no wrinkles on the leather. I have all records.

Well it seems Eurocharged has her on track! I have been using the car as my daily the last couple weeks on the pump gas tune and she hasnt had a single hiccup. Been fine in traffic, a blast on the highway and passing cars is my new favorite pass time. lol
I am very happy with how she is performing now. Just wish the brake pads didnt make so much dust. lol At least with the ceramic coating she stays nice and clean. I thought the car was pretty low key but every time I go anywhaere I get compliments. At stop lights people motion for me to roll the windows down and give me compliments. Even when I get gas its like a mini car show with people posing next to it and wanting to sit inside. lol

Its good to have her done up proper now. Yeah shes not as fast as I was promised but shes plenty quick and man I sure do love how she cradles me in so much comfort!

Sounds great. Can they extract more power with pump gas or are they at the limit with the stock ECU?

They are at the limit with the stock ECU. We are discussing switching to E85. Said with that change we can get 100-150 more HP and 150 more TQ. Plus with what I have spent on race gas it kinda makes sense and that way I can run it in high HP mode all the time. Car is a freakin blast in high HP mode. Its a whole lot of fun on 93 but on 104 its an animal! But even more power and only $1.80 a gallon sounds like the E ticket.

Is there any market for the stock intercoolers and turbos?

It's probably an easy 1000 rwhp with the right ecu. Yes, run E85 if it's the only way to get the power and it is readily available.

After all the talk and a year of headaches, let's see the dyno sheets and time slips. It's nice to see the break down and differences.

Also, what was the tuning hurdle, the amount of boost or power and torque limits? I can't see how anyone can say with such certainty that E85 will get that much extra power since it's yet to be done. No doubt, the E85 has the potential, but the 216 platform was the excuse from the beginning when you were promised so much more. I'm not bashing, I just don't believe in something, until its proven. So get to it and prove it, lol.

I am still debating it myself as to if I do it or not. I am also taking the claimed HP gain with E85 with a grain of salt. It hasnt been done so who knows. Its a $5000 gamble and about a month of it being down again. It all boils down to if I keep it or not. If I do, E85 makes all the sense in the world. But if I sell it then it will be more money lost.
It would be nice to run sub $2 a gallon fuel and run it in high HP mode all the time though.

I dont know for sure what I am gonna do. I am going to Maui next month, shop is slammed, getting married in January and have so much going on right now that the Benz has taken a back burner. Figured I would just take my Vette and make it my single digit car but after all is said and done its like 30k to do it and make it do it can do it more than a couple times. Drivetrain stuff gets expensive quick on those cars. Like its only $14k to do everything to get a 9 second pass out of it but then its another 16k if you want it to do it time and time again without leaving rear end or trans parts on the track. lol

Actually I have decided not to go the E85 route. I prefer to focus on getting a larger house and modding my Vette so I am keeping the AMG up for sale.
i have decided to let it go for a great price in hopes someone can enjoy her. So $88,000 is asking and I am open to offers. Car is still in excellent shape and I do have it's full history. PM me if interested.

Sorry. You sir are out of your mind.

Literally and figuratively. Your car is worth maybe 38 k. It's a relic.

Sorry sir. You are a moron. Literally and figuratively.
I can slam it in a wall right now and get 77k for it.

Too bad you just bought a car that is now worth HALF what you just paid for it.

You are a typical keyboard warrior.

Well snuggle up to that steering wheel. You'll be in that slug for the duration.

Whatever. I can keep t forever and not bother me. Its worth every penny being asked. Your opinion is invalid. Nice thing is unlike your car I can snuggle up inside and be very happy unlike your car that looks like a GM inside and will continue to free fall in value. Mine does a free fall too but your comment of its value is a pure insult and was said just do be a douche.
At least I paid cash for it. Hows them car payments treating you?

The truth hurts sometimes.

You've managed to buy the worst depreciating car in the history of cars. You said you want to move on. Good luck.
