i replaced my voltage regulator about 4 months ago and the same thing just happened to me today where all systems shut down, I got all sorts of warning messages and then the display went blank. Is there anything besides the regulator that could cause those same type of symptoms like a voltage regulator going bad? Or did I just end up with a faulty one? The strange thing is that now that I'm stopped everything comes back on and goes back out. Sort of like a faulty wire that's trying to make connection. This leads me to believe it might be wiring related.

I don't quite follow. I'm sure what you're suggesting makes perfect sense but I haven't performed much electrical troubleshooting. Can you maybe explain in further detail?
