2007 CL63 upgrade 7G tronic to MCT

Anyone knows if it is possible to upgrade the 7G tronic to a much faster MCT transmission on a 2007 CL63 with the M156 engine?
It should be ok as the 2009 SL63 uses the same engine with same power and torque and has the MCT...

Any experience or advice?

You do know the MCT transmission isn't a double clutch gearbox in the usual sense, don't you?

Yes, but the torque converter makes shifts slower than the MCT which hasn't it. I tried both transmission and there's a huge difference.

The torque converter doesn't really do anything during gear changes, apart from the cushion the shifts somewhat. All the shifting is done by the multiple clutches, just like the (very) slushmatic. I know the MCT shifts faster, but that's probably down to the software, and perhaps a higher capacity hydraulic pump.

I've never heard of anyone doing the conversion. It won't be impossible, but I think you'd have to be quite brave.
