2005 W215 T65S Brabus
Hi All,
I'm trying to figure out the value of a 2005 W215 T65S Brabus.
My mom is getting divorced and I've been tasked with selling this vehicle on her behalf.
It has 63,500 miles and is in perfect running condition. The only issue is know of is the rear passenger ashtray cover is broken. It's been garaged it's entire life.
I recall my step father telling me it was in a magazine. I think I found the article while searching around this forum.

I took it out for a spin today. Holy $h!+, this thing will put you into the back of your seat no matter how fast you're going.
I'm in no rush to sell it and I'm hoping to find someone who appreciates the rarity of the vehicle.
I think there are less than 200 made and only a handful were ever imported into the US.
Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

Private party sale at 22,500 you'd be doing well. The fact that it may / may not have Brabus parts / kit installed really is moot or if anything hurts the value for people wanting original.

Absolutely,
Just trying to give you realistic pricing. I've owed / still own a 06 cl65 and 11 cl65. And many inbetween. Once over the 40k mile mark they always are a tough sale. And the reality is getting in the low 20s of your lucky.

I actually tried reaching out to you, threw carsforsale.com when the car was posted up on there. But I got no return call about the car at all. And ended up buying a different CL65 😭

the problem with these Brabus tagged cars is that the value depends of the VIN
a S65 based T65S was sold here a week ago for 22.000$
A Brabus made car has a Brabus VIN
A Brabus Tuned car has a MB VIN not the same value but a real Brabus same engine not same value and sometimes even ignored if it was just a tuner car as no collector value

I'm not concerned about the perceived value of this car as a Brabus. It's just a tuned CL65 to me. I'm more interested in paperwork and service history. The original owner had it for over 10 years, second owner almost 4. Surely one of these folks has more information on it.

Well guys, I'm going to pull the trigger on this car next week. If anyone can think of a reason I shouldn't, please speak up here or send me a PM. I've had multiple Mercedes Benz cars and generally work on them myself. I've read lots of the "what to look for" threads, and expensive horror stories. I think I'm ready for it.

Gorgeous car. Looks like Flint Grey code 368. Same color and wood combo as my S55 (Chestnut — unobtanium). Rare option tick cars. Of course, there is the matter of those coil packs...

Paint code is 747U PERLITE GRAY METALLIC with 733 WOOD VERSION CHEST NUT as you said. Absolutely gorgeous!
I am the current owner. What a car! No coil pack issues so far. No issues really at all. It apparently was VERY well maintained...has just over 72k miles on it now.
Not planning on selling it...it would have to be a very high offer to move me in that direction. It's one of a kind according to Brabus.
