CLA 45 in Vancouver Canada
I just took delivery of my CLA45 last night. The car sounds awesome with AMG performance exhaust options. The popping sound on downshift can draw some attentions.

Damn it I think I picked the wrong color! I wanted NLV but from pictures that I saw I thought it looked too much like eggplant. From the looks of your pics it looks amazing! More pics in the daylight, I beg you!

I regret not getting the performance exhaust on the Porsche and there it was a very noticeable difference. I can hear my friend who had the performance exhaust coming home and leaving for work - where as mine without it just sounded good not great.
So I guess I'm making up for it here.

I was nervous ordering it as I'm past my bachelor years. Is it just the snap cackle and pop that isn't present in the standard exhaust. I want it to be noticeable but not fake or enhanced... Does it sound real?

I can honestly say, since I have a CLA 45 parked in my garage tonight with the AMG performance exhaust, it is nothing like a teenager loud fart can, it sounds very performance oriented. Granted it will never sound as smooth and rich as a V8, for an inline 4 it is pretty amazing. I too was a little nervous as I didn't want to sound like a d-bag driving down the street in a loud car, it is a Mercedes after all and still needs to act classy!
