Hey johnnyrt, early in your thread you mentioned you were able to get apps working. I've tried with a BB and Samsung Galaxy S4. Found some information online that stated Apps uses dun blue tooth protocol which is an older technology. Downloaded an app which was supposed to act as a translator between bluetooth and apps. I was able to get it to initiate integration but couldn't get it to stay connected. Did your iPhone connect pretty seamlessly or did you have to play with settings to get it to work?
I really cannot make an educated comment on Samsung or BB, you might have to search the internet. All I can say is the new system runs on the latest software with smart phones, so chances are you may need to update.

I would never buy a car from Lone Star Mercedes in Calgary, I have heard nothing but problems with them. Go see Jonathan Hughes at Hyatt Mercedes in Calgary, amazing dealership, amazing service. This was my second car from Jonathan. He is an AMG specialist and is really well connected to AMG Germany. The only option I had to abort on was the exterior carbon fibre, due in part to delays and high cost!

I have an older iPhone 4s and when I got the CLA45 in November, I only had iOS6 which was not compliant with MB Apps. After I upgraded to iOS7, everything worked perfectly. Now I use my iPhone as a 'hot spot' and run my internet connection through that. My only quorum with the MB system is it is slow! It is cool however - real time weather, airport reports, traffic and traffic cameras, google, Facebook etc!

Hi, jonnyrt, i am from Calgary too, and i got my car at Nov 26,13 at Lone Star,(was at nov 19 but due to the heavy snowfall) i go there beacuse i know someone, and i waited about a month to get it. Did your window tinited in the dealer?, cause lone star dont do tint at all, only 3m. so now i have to find a place to tint my windows. but havent decide which one to go yet. i think will wait till spring come, cause i am not driving it right now. Should have a meet in summer
My car only has 300 km on it, won't drive it until Spring. For the apps question, you need to download the latest software update for your phone

Hyatt brought in professional window tinters to do my car, everything was all done before I took possession (3M, window tint etc). It wasn't cheap (~$500) but the job was really really well done. I was weary of window tinting not done at the factory but Hyatt did an amazing job.
My car only has 300 km on it, won't drive it until Spring. For the apps question, you need to download the latest software update for your phone

As for the online command, i found out how for all the android phones, have to use the app call BlueDUN, in app store, and delete the paired phone in the car system, then open that BlueDUN app, then pair the phone to the car again, then will work with the online command apps.

I wont drive it till spring too, and i only put on 160km. Maybe i can go ask Hyatt to tint my windows. I know someone doing the 3m in there, maybe i can get a deal.
