Offerd a CLA45 but not sure
My local MB dealer has a new 2015 CLA45 with all the bells and whistles and he is waiting on me to decide if I want to buy it. I'm 25 Years old and live in Montreal (a lot of snow for 5 months in the year). I am torn between the CLA45 and the C400 with the AMG body fully speced. I know they are two very different cars (Power is almost similar to be honest) but I wanted to see if you guys who own one recommend I should go for the CLA45 even though it's about $100 more expensive per month on a lease?
Thanks
If you want to be coddled while you're driving, the C400.
If you want a sportier, dynamic experience, the CLA45.

What transmission are they pairing with the 3.0L? If it's the new 9 spd, that may be enough to sway me, if I was in your position, over the CLA. Otherwise with the AMG as you probably know you get the show, go and brakes and suspension tuning to match.
Straight sleeper though, I bet the 3.0L V6 C will kick some ***!

Also, the 3.0L will be able to make decent power, but certainly will not be able to make as much as the 2.0 in the 45. The 45 has the advantage of forged Pistons, forged crankshaft, practically race spec weight optimization of the internals, and a sandcast block. The C400 has none of this. The 45 will make more power with modding, and be MUCH more reliable. The stock 2.0L could easily handle 550+hp, it's the transmission and PTU that will limit its potential.
