Well put it this way, he has supposedly ran a 12mph better trap speed than your best, but with a slower ET.
It should be the other way round when comparing RWD and 4WD.

Let's just see if these results ever get duplicated on another track. My guess is they won't. The ET on this run seems spot on IMO given the mods and altitude. It's just that trap speed that doesn't make sense. It's as though he flew off the line, braked half way down the strip, then continued his run. Only thing being that he would need about 550+bhp to accomplish those speeds when doing that.

It would be interesting to see what trap speeds other cars ran at that event. Should give us an idea of accuracy.

I honestly cant tell if you are being serious or not because it doesn't get much simpler than this

I'll break it down really EASY for you:

- 60 foot times consistent with STOCK CLA45, therefore NO TRACTION LOSS
- 12.9ET reasonable for these mods since the STOCK CLA45 ran a 13.7ET
- 121mph trap speed is WAY off

He had good traction, aka did not lose any time on take off. He ran a 12.9 second ET. But yet trapped 121mph? This is impossible.

Like the post before mine, in order to get this time and trap speed, he would have had to get off the line, completely get OFF the gas for a considerable time, and then get back on it. But as mentioned, he would need probably 550-600hp in order to achieve those trap speeds after only accelerating mid way through the run.

It's a simple case of the trap speeds being off. By how much? A fair bit I would say. He should be trapping maybe 110-111mph tops at 8000ft elevation.

That time slip doesn't add up at all. With that poor et and high mph.. Is the track longer than a quarter mile possibly? Something is off there. The way that car launched there is no way it ran 12.9 at 121. My last car ran 11.3 at 120. This is obviously not in USA, and throw in those unrealistic numbers, something isn't right.

Perhaps it's KPH, in which case that would also make no sense??

He's going to re-run it, so perhaps that will be more telling.

I cant understand those numbers
Ive been to the race track all the summer and i ran stock
Between 12,4 a 12,6 109-110 mph
And i put the renntech piggyback to put a 12,20 @ 114,54mph

No way that trap speed is real.

At 8000ft altitude it runs 121MPH? What will it run at sea level? 125-130? lol. Dont flatter yourselves.

Physics and everyone else's car aside, it's obvious that drag strip has faulty trap speed beams. Did anyone else notice the car in the right lane (first race) ran 17.8 @ 96.9mph? The car in the left lane (second race) ran 14 @ 113.7mph? Unreal, except maybe on the moon.
