The 300.00 are for the filter and the bigger billet housing opening that's between the filter and turbo hose as shown on page 1

CLA45 AMG '15
I installed mine today. The product is very beautiful. With extreme care installation took me 45 min. or so. Once familiar with it one can do it in 15 min.

I did a mixed city/HW drive after installation and I only went up to 180 km/h (red-line using manual mode.) Impressions:
  • I felt the turbo lag reduced a bit. Smoother transition from 2K to 4k rpm. Maybe it's only feeling.
  • Engine sound and exhaust note both changed. The car sounds more like a "small sports car" than "fake V8" now.
  • I could feel the power gain, though not a huge difference. It does make the car feel much more lively.

Overall I'm quite happy. Thanks for the great product.

Is the intake on the 2016 (increased hp over 2015) any different? i.e. what did MB do to get more HP - what would the increase be on this model?

It's the same intake the only difference from the 14&15 to the 16 model is different exhaust camshaft .
The engine's are otherwise the same .
