GLA vs CLA Transmission

GLA vs CLA Transmission
Hey guys. I've seen a few reviews that stated the GLA has a faster shifting transmission than the CLA. For 2016, did the CLA inherit the same transmission/tuning?

I have not heard that this is the case,
We of course can move the shift points higher by selecting S vs C (or E) and take them into our own hands in manual until the rev limiter take over.
It just does not make sense the MB would use a different trans between the cars but the software could have different parameters.
I just had first service on my 2015 CLA45 AMG and there were just a whole bunch of code updates. I do find after the updates the trans shifts smoother and at slightly different points and fuel consumption looks - at least on this first few days of use - to be better.
I will ask my service guys about this.

What is your source of this info. I only ask because the 7G DCT transmission is used across a number of platforms and of course they sell the same models in many countries with slightly different specs. and under different labels. e,g. CLA 45 AMG is the A 45 in the UK.
