Turbo issues are only for the first year models. Jerky trans comes with almost any dual clutch car. Even Higher end Lamborghinis are jerky with their dual clutch trannys. Drove a huracan on vacation, same jerkiness, as expected.

16+ has an updated DCT with shorter gearing which in my opinion makes a difference. I went from a 15 to a 17 and the 17 definitely feels quicker and the DCT is much improved.

op go for what your pockets can get you.
I had a 14 for 3yrs had zero issues good luck.
