So, I just bought a pre-owned CLA45 AMG with the performance exhaust, aftermarket suspension, and some random device connected near the steering wheel. Salesman claims not to know what it is and none of the mechanics could figure it out. Pressing + or - does not raise or lower the suspension. I thought maybe it dampens/stiffens the suspension and it sort of felt like that while driving, but it's also very possible that I'm imagining it. Salesman just got back to me and said the mechanic says it makes the car "quicker". Not sure exactly what that means lol. Any help is appreciated, see pic below.
Hmm, could it be a pedal commander of some sort? If you tinker with it.. do you notice the car gives more or less throttle when you put your foot down a little bit?
