Quiet thudding noise from rear end
Hello, just got myself a 66 plate (late 2016) CLA 45 AMG . I have a quiet thudding noise coming from under the rear of the car at low speeds. Mainly when slowing down or pulling away. Has happened occasionally in reverse and sometimes is louder and can almost feel it judder when it’s louder.. now I’m aware of it I can here it most times I stop and pull away.. I’ve read posts about differential issues so thinking this is the problem? Also read that this is normal which I really find hard to believe.
Any way I’m booked into Mercedes to have it looked at but just wanted some opinions on what they think and if it could be something else?

Welcome did you check to see if the undercarriage liners (covers) are on tight. They could flop if the ends are not secure.
