how do you know the status? My dealership hasn’t let me know much. Is there a number I should know, that I can look up?

I emailed MBUSA Customer Support and asked why the CLA 45 was Missing .Here is their response

As of right now we anticipate the vehicle releasing in the first half of 2022. Once the vehicle is available then it will be available to build online.
We recommend speaking directly to the Sales Advisor for ordering, as they would be in the best position for this inquiry.

I asked the dealer about why the 45 is not on the website, they said that production is over for the '22s and they will be getting ready for the '23s.
My car was built on Jan 14th 2022 and I ordered it back in April of '21. It made the boat ride over and arrived at Baltimore on 3/8/22. We'll see how long my sits. The dealer told me they didn't think it would be long, but you guys have me concerned!

Not sure thats accurate, typically they move from current model year to next in August.
Re status, my dealers sales mgr told me today its pending EPA cert and MB is hoping thats this month -- also heard from someone else waiting on theirs that their dealer told them it was just release to a truck and enroute from the VPC ... so things may be happening soon. Also, 2022 CLA 45 does show as one of the lease special offers on MBUSA.COM right now.
Re status, my dealers sales mgr told me today its pending EPA cert and MB is hoping thats this month -- also heard from someone else waiting on theirs that their dealer told them it was just release to a truck and enroute from the VPC ... so things may be happening soon. My dealer told me back In December it would be any day now. Then, maybe Mid March . They did say once it was released from the port they were going to pick it up . So..... it just sits in Baltimore.

Hey all, good news. Got confirmation from multi dealers that the GLA 45 was released by MB for sale in the US on Friday and they expect release of the CLA 45 any day. So we could have our cars within a week or so. Fingers crossed.

I just got confirmation from my dealer that I'm looking at a June production date for the CLA45!
Two options that will not be available due to semi-conductor shortage:
- Power passenger seat with memory
- Foot Activated Trunk
I'm assuming that the first one is just the memory part (The car will still come with seats, and they will be powered)
The second one is not a biggie.
They are decreasing the price of the premium package because of this though. Anyhow, I'm glad that I don't have to start from scratch again a la the RS3!

.Back in business and the people ordering now will pay more The price of my build back in October was $67.080 with $1.050 destination and delivery included. To build the same car now on MB site, the price now is $67.770 that does not include destination and delivery. I noticed the Driver Assistance Package is now $1.700 on my sheet it’s only $1.300.

There was only one Driver Assistance Package to chose from .In the Performance and Safety section you only has 3 choices Driver Assistance Package , Parking Assistance Package and AMG Dynamic PLUS Package . There was no other option . On my 2021 GLA35 the Driver Assistance Package was $1.700 and that was the only choice you had . I'm not sure what you are talking about a full version
