Every brand of exhaust system comes with its own features, advantages, quirks, and most important, sound. As a mechanic, it would be awesome if you can tell me what you are looking for when you choose a new one, because this way I’ll know exactly what options to present to you.
The owner of the CLA35 in the photos went with the Slip-On Line Titanium exhaust system, so we obliged, documenting our progress, as I always do.
Once we put this bad boy on, not only that the sound hits new levels and tones, but it’s also lighter than stock due to the titanium used in its manufacturing, and an increase performance of 5.3HP and 6.6Nm torque.
You can check the photos to see how it went, but first, I’m leaving here a video with the sound, with another CLA35 I installed the Slip-ON a while back:

Titanium allow, according to specs it's 34% lighter than stock, from 13.6kg to 9kg

A close up photo of the carbon fiber tips

The manufacturing location, logo and part number all neatly placed

The new A-Class W177 and CLA-Class C118 need to have the rear spoiler removed, for installation purposes

All set!
