Drove the car today for its first relative long trip, over 100 miles. Car now has 325 miles on it. Each time I stopped, I tried the emotion start and it makes some auditory electric sound, not like the pops and stuff like my old '22 CLA45. Did they change it? Sounds very digital and electronic no exhaust noise at all. Tried different modes too. No difference. Exhaust on loud/powerful, no difference. Same noise on all modes.

Hopefully someone knows the answer.

 

Don't know what the electric sound is about, but they got rid of Emotion Start around 2023 across the lineup. Don't remember exactly when, but the models/model years after that don't have it anymore. I'm guessing noise regulations put an end to it.
