Downpipe Check Engine Light Solution
As everyone knows on the cla45 once you install a downpipe the infamous CEL appears on the dash. I recently installed my meisterschaft one on my car and wanted to see what solutions there was. So I emailed meisterschaft and they told me about the vibrant 02 sensor extension that they offer. So I went to my local shop and got the extender and so far it solved the problem. Besides the extension there are three spacers that come included with the spacer. I used the smallest spacer and with a little bit of driving the CEL went away. Hopefully this works for everyone for it is a simple and easy solution that could work for everyone.

Eurocharged offers flash tunes now so I'm pretty sure they can just turn off CEL in the tune. Other will release flashes as well

I recently installed Speedriven downpipes for myEurocharged tuned CL 65. The check engine light came on immediately, which I thought was odd because my tuner informed me he could turn it off. After many weeks, I finally thought to replace the 2nd o2 sensor. While doing this, the mechanic removed the 90 degree o2 extensions that were built in to the down pipes. He said that the sensors needed to be in the exhaust stream. So my question is this- considering I have a tune, why or why not do I need the 90 degree extension? Thanks.
