Bathurst Mt Panorama Race Track AMG Day
Had same wonderful experiences at Bathurst race track AMG day..
My personal observations & experiences
1/. Across the mountain & down the straight, where halfway down the 250k/h cutout kicked in, the A45/CLA45 felt most at ease & quickest. A very pleasant high speed experience that shocked me how composed the car felt, even in such esteem company it shone. Not enough torque going up the hill was its let down.
2/. Up the hill the 430kw AMG e63 had the legs & very impressive.
3/.Overall the C63S was the most at ease over the whole track.
4/. IMPO the GTS felt wide & luxurious & did everything right until, as the journo from Motor.com stated, going up the hill over the high speed hump at 240k/h the front end moved around when unloaded. IMPO you would never get the chance to duplicate this on the road. He said the C63s was similar but i could never get it to do it. When the C63S is tuned to have the torque of the AMG E class, then it would be the ultimate Bathurst machine.
