Changing gearbox oil?

After seeing how bad my GT-R gearbox oil was when I change it I was thinking about changing it in the 45 I have.

But has anyone done it?
Any diy around?

Im pretty sure its just as easy as changing it in the GT-R but need some info before doin it.
Where to drain and where to fill for ex would be a good start.

Asked my local MB dealer but as I suspected insanly expensive.

A filter kit is required at 30k miles. That will entail dropping the pan. If you look under there it appears to be pretty straight forward. I've got another 10 to go before doing so unless I purchase Weistec's higher capacity pan beforehand. As for draining I think I remember seeing a plug on there just like the lower plug on the rear diff. Simple

Anyone that has some pictures of this oilchange?
Seems like Im the only one thinking about it.

In the GTR its a big issue with the gearbox oil and should be changed quite often so it wont cause a lot of problems
