My check engine light went on, so I pulled in at a service station. I was told that I was leaking anti freeze and I needed a new thermo housing unit. I was quoted $1,100 - does this seem right? Can I use an after market part to save money?

I also need new rear shocks - $675 - does that sound right?

Any advice is appreciated.
