Option Code 459 AMG RIDE CONTROL Suspension
I have a question about Option 459 AMG RIDE CONTROL Suspension. It seems that this option includes a 15mm lowered ride height. Is this true for all markets? I see it in UK market eBrochure, but is this the same case in the US, or Germany?
What do your option lists say in your respective countries? In some countries it seems there is no mention of the 15mm lowering for Option 459.

I'm going to just answer my own question here. As I have found out, only Europe and UK markets mention the 15mm lowering, it is indeed true for all markets that AMG Ride Control Option 459 is 15mm lower than 486 AMG Sport Suspension even though your region's AMG sales pack doesn't mention it. I hope this piece of information helps would-be buyers.

I was hoping that was the case with my dynamic package but I was going to order it regardless just to get the rest of the performance goodies!

Just an update on this. I was looking at this again and the literature actually says “shock courses for the springs reduced by 15mm”, whatever that means. Does this refer to the ride height? The spring perches? Hard to say.
