non OEM rims void warranty?

I never heard of that before... but if a dealer wants to be shady they'll use anything as an excuse. When I had a Mitsu EVO I heard of a dealer who tried to deny someone a warranty claim because they installed a boost gauge. lol

Dealership will always find every reason to void warranty claims… warranty claims are paid for the dealer and not by the manufacture.
I had a Lexus IS that had a worn out/weak sunroof weatherstrip. So every time I hit small/big bumps on the road it sounds like the glass top will fly off. Dealer immediately blamed my lowered suspension. Fast forward, I found a friend that knows someone and eventually got it replaced… but that was after 5 trips to the service center WOW.

Highly doubt aftermarket wheels will affect the main warranty , but if you bought wheel and tire coverage then aftermarket wheels are not covered. I believe with tires they are covered if they are offered by Mercedes as an option.
