‘22 AMG CLA45
Performance Mods
Hi, I’m new here.
I’ve got a ‘22 AMG CLA45. Cosmos Black, pretty much optioned out. I came from a 2008 C300. Needless to say, I’m loving my new car.
After experiencing what it’s like to command a decent amount of power - I’m interested in squeezing as much juice as I can out of this thing while not risking too much in terms of reliability.
I’ve talked with my dealership and they can help me with a tune via renntech.
However they recommended I implement any hardware mods before I go ahead with a tune.
I’m mainly posting this to get input on said hardware mods. Keep in mind, I’m very new to the car modification world.
Here’s what I’m currently thinking are worth looking into.
-Downpipe (should I go catless?)
-Charge pipe
-Blow off Valve (other than the cool sound, does this make much of a difference in power or otherwise?)
-Cold Air Intake
Anything I’m missing that I should be considering? Also, any recommendations on variations or brands is very much appreciated. What did you do to modify your CLA45 and what has your experience been?
Any advice or experiences are very much appreciated by this newbie.

I Currently have a Armspeed Intake installed but had to hold off on installing my Catless downpipes. The 2022s Models ECUs are locked. I am currently looking at different tuning companies who can unlock the ecu to perform a tune. Weistec is one, but they charge $1,000 to unlock the ECU then 1500-1600 to add the tune. I am planning on waiting it out until companies gain more access on unlocking it.

M133
All these companies saying the offer parts tunes and stuff for our cars. When you go to their site it may show the c118 but it’s all for the m133. I’m getting tired of not being able to find stuff for our motor and cars specifically.
