MY20+ Coolant issues
Anyone else have the same issue with their C118 CLA45 with topping off their coolant every few thousand miles? I've been in and out of the dealer regarding this issue. They've performed pressure tests with the cooling system and have not found any leaks. My SA mentioned that AMG's tend to consume coolant more than usual? is that normal lol. This is the only German car i've owned that i had to top off the coolant this often, and the other car i owned was a Honda with a busted head gasket.

I have the same situation. I find myself topping up coolant now and then... not frequently but on my previous cars I didn't have to ever top off. I got told the same thing... that there's no issue... they don't see any leaks and that AMG's just burn coolant sometimes.
If you find an actual problem please let me know because I'd like to know an answer as well.

It’s very frustrating at this point. I’m glad it’s not leaking anywhere but it’s definitely burning off somewhere which is very unusual for such a new car.
Been through 3 different “amg certified” service centers and all of them couldn’t do anymore than a pressure test coz there isn’t any visual proof of coolant leaks around the engine bay other than significant decrease of coolant level in the tank.
does this qualify for a Lemon car???

Y'all jinxed me. Here I am thinking I hope this doesn't happen to me. Get in the car this morning, low coolant level warning.
Luckily, after a couple of hours on various MB germany sites I found some locally. Zerex G40 is the MB approved coolant for the M139 engines and is $21 compared to $100+ oem stuff.

I had the coolant issue since 2020 when I got mine. I just recently took it in for service and there was a TSB/Recall on the coolant line that need replaced.
Ever since then, no coolant messages!
I would suggest getting that done.

Technical Service Bulletins are not recalls. That's more of... if an owner has a problem... this is how you fix it.
