C118 CLA45S will undoubtedly go down in history as a powerhouse, boasting its 421hp, just like W177 A45S, with a more than positive reception from owners and fans alike.
Performance, quality and style are some of the main features quoted time an time again in various articles covering this model.
Naturally, when it comes to performance, there's always a particular curiosity about how much further we can push it, and so whenever we have the chance to find out, we record it dutifully.

It's worthwhile to check it out, because they did a neat thing with the ECU, changing its place from the original location, and I included some hand made schematics for the curious ones.

The Akrapovic exhaust is made of lightweight titanium alloy, with louder, surging sound coming from its throat.
According to AK's official data, it's 14.3% lighter than stock (9.6kg down from 11.2kg), and it gains you 8.7HP, with a torque of 9.1Nm

And of course, have to group all that with DYNO Test sessions, while having Japanese Digi-Tec engineers remapping ECU, which, by the way, we can also assist with, remotely, as long as the garage you go to has the right tools.
