Carlsson 1/10 in Titanium on a CLA250
Hello MB members,
Last week we completed the wheel and tire install on the CLA 250 that was fit with the Carlsson C-tronic CB25 Kit, the next phase will be the exhaust and some of the body add ons.
The wheels are Carlsson 1/10 Design in 19x8.5 F/R with an ET45 offset, and the rubber provided is the Pirelli Pzero in a 235/35-19 F/R.
The before and after really change the appearance of this car, it almost made the car look bigger. One nice thing was after fitting the more aggressive wheels the need to lower the car did not really seem like a necessity any longer, the new wheels and tires really filled the fenders and there was absolutely no modifications necessary to be made. Since the CLA is a fairly light vehicle, keeping the factory suspension for ride comfort was important to this customer, so if many of you were on the fence about adding springs to lower your car for an improved look and you plan to also do wheels and tires; I would do the wheel and tire combo first and then see if the springs to lower the car will still be necessary
