HG Motorsports is proud to announce production availability of our Performance Cold Air Intake System for the CLA 250! This intake system flows 51% more air than the factory airbox but has been designed to work flawlessly without requiring any other modifications. We worked hard to ensure integration with a stock car without a tune but more power will be gained when combined with a tune like our HGMS tuning module that will be available soon. Independent dyno results have verified our claim of 5 horsepower and 5 lb/ft of torque gained without modifying the tune in any way, we will post a dyno graph within a few days. This less restrictive intake system allows the turbocharger to spool more quickly and will let you hear a deep, slightly more aggressive engine note without compromising the refinement and civility you expect from a Mercedes-Benz. Our intake also will not compromise the consistent power delivery of the CLA even in hot conditions, the rotational plastic airbox is highly heat resistant and will remain cool to the touch even after sustained full throttle acceleration.
