Gotta give props to Jerry here. I bought my illuminated door sills from him over 7 1/2 years ago for my 05 C230. And to this day, I have not had a single problem with them. They always turn on when opening the respective door (I installed them the correct way), and have always worked.
Out of everything that's on my car (standard or optional), the one thing that everybody loves when they see the car is the illuminated door sills. Great product, and well worth it !!
