Rebellion S1V2 tune + Sprint Booster Review

So I just installed my Sprint Booster and my Rebellion Automotive Piggyback tune. The Sprint Booster part # for the CLA is SBME0012S. I purchased the Rebellion tune directly from Matt and received it about a week later via DHL. The installation took me a little longer than anticipated for both but I ca do it in half the time now. Just some tips for anyone wanting to do these mods:
- I took the pedal assembly off by unbolting the 1 13mm plastic bolt because I could not see the clip I needed to pull off for the pedal harness.

- For the 3 sensors for the piggyback tune, you need to pull out the little grey tab before you can push down on it and disengage the plug. You can't just pinch it down and pull the plug. It acts as a lock. Once you plug the tuner into the plug locations, you slide the tab back in to lock it.

Impressions:

Sprint Booster alone: The Sprint Booster is really a bang for the buck mod. The throttle response is vastly improved and the lethargic throttle is gone for good with immediate response. Very nice stand alone mod that can satisfy most for a while until the need for more power comes along.

Rebellion Tune alone: I tried the car with the Rebellion tune and the sprint booster turned off. I drove the car easy to make sure the car adapts well to it's new inputs. Once I got it going though the increase in torque was immediate, the shifts more defined and the power kept going.

Both: Once I got into the back roads, I turned the Sprint Booster on green and the car was already completely different. Put it in Sport Mode and it just felt so visceral. I pulled aside and put the Sprint Booster in Race Mode. This time when I took off I was in disbelief at how quick the car was from a dig and it just keeps going. Race Mode + Sport Mode and this car is an animal. Throttle is immediate, power comes on sooner and stronger, and you actually feel the shifts come quick.

Verdict: I don't think there are words that can explain how transformed my car was after these two mods. They are by far the best bang for the buck mods for a real transformation under a grand. It's a completely different beast, and at it's peak it's putting out 300 lb tq. I changed my tires out to wider Pirelli P Zero so it's hooking up better than the stockers but the torque is still enough to break traction on this thing.

I got my sprint booster from ebay, it's the same one for the W204 C class and newer E-Classes and I just PM'd and emailed Matt from Rebellion directly: matt@rebellionautomotive.co.uk

Thank you for all that testing, it's the information that helped me make my decision as to which route to take to tune my CLA.
