Foot trunk activation

Foot trunk activation
Hello all, I’m a new owner of my first Benz, a 2019 CLA 250. The foot trunk activation works when the car is unlocked, but not when the car is locked. Defeats the purpose having to reach for the fob to unlock the doors when you have a handful of groceries. Anyone else have this problem?
Btw how amateur hour is the remote start turning off once you open the door?
All things considered, it’s great car to have.

From reading your post it seems you don't have Keyless GO. Still, I can' t imagine not having it would force you to unlock doors first. Auto trunk access works fine in my car with doors locked; I have Keyless GO. I'd check with your dealer since it is under warranty.

Thanks for the reply. Funny, I do have Keyless Go....will have to go to the dealer and get it checked out.
