Aftermarket wheels.
New member here, have had my car for 4 years now.
Long story short- 1 wheel cracked due to pot hole, got that fixed and was good as new. Second wheel cracked a week later and now I’m fed up with the stock AMG wheels that came with my car.
so im looking at getting new aftermarket wheels.
I’ve been doing some digging around finding some nice new shoes I like for it, only thing that is not making me hit the checkout button is the lug nuts.
I noticed on my Benz with the lug nuts that it is one piece with a coned shape after the bolt pattern. On other vehicles the bolt is attached to the hub with a lug nut that is able to screw on( sorry bad at technical words).
Question is, if I do buy after market wheels will I have to make sure the lug nut whole fits the oem lug nut or what has other peoples experience with this. Not sure what to do here.
sorry for maybe sounding confusing or just dumb in general. Just really stumped here and I don’t want to drop large amounts of money of wheels that don’t fit (ordering online.
