CLA250 whining noise while idling
Help! Car making a constant high pitched whining sound that almost sounds like an electric golf cart while idling and driving. Noise level changes with a change in RPM. Just did an oil change before it started but not sure if that's related. Double checked the oil level and re-replaced the filter in case there was something wrong with the new filter and no change in noise. The tension on the serpentine belt has no defects and appears to have good tension. Also tried spraying some water on the belt on the teeth side and no change. No check engine light. Any thoughts on what it could be or what I can check?
