A little context, my car one fine day refused to start out of nowhere. It turns on but when i try to crank it, i just hear one click which is the starter. Im unable to turn the crankshaft by hand and the coolant reservoir has this milky substance. Weirdly enough my engine oil level is perfectly fine and is of normal color. I plugged a scanner in and im getting two significant codes U010187 and U010387 for failed communication with the Transmission control unit and selector lever along with a whole bunch of other codes and voltage faults. I want to know if my engine is seized, if its got something to do with the transmission and if i can somehow unfreeze the engine or do i have to replace it? Would it make a difference if i took the serpantine belt off and then tried to manually turn the crankshaft pulley? what steps should i take before going for an engine replacement?
