Normal for the buttons to rub off?

Hi. Looking at some 2015 or new CLAs, and I notice that many of them have black buttons, but parts of the buttons have rubbed off. At first I thought it was just negligent users, but I see nearly every used CLA has at least one button on the steering wheel that has rubbed off.

Is that normal for this CLA line? If so, can you obtain replacerment buttons, and are such buttons easy to install yourself? Thanks for any insight out there.

like many things in these cars they arnt built to last. While it’s not normal it will happen the more you use the car.
Don’t jump to conclusions so quickly. Maybe he finds and oem set of buttons for $40 bucks and buys that.
