Why no keyless go?

Any idea why keyless go and hands free aren’t available until 01/2020?

Wow, I may have to do a buyback of my A-Class and I'm looking into trying to upgrade to the new CLA instead since the price difference for what I want is only about $4-6K difference. But the fact I don't have keyless go is mind-boggling that it won't be available until 2020. What the hell is that?

Is it a firmware/software update related thing and the necessary hardware is there or is it completely missing and build dates of 2020 give that feature? No point in even buying the car right now if you can't get something that any other car in this modern era has as a nearly basic/standard feature...... talk about rushed lol

Sales person seemed to be confused by that idea tonight, but I don't know how it's supposed to work and he unlocked it from a distance. I think he was trying to hide it.
