C118 CLA250 evap issue
Hi everyone,
hope someone can help me out. I have a CLA250 C118 and everytime i refill it with fuel, the engine has problems with starting. After that the engine starts as it supposed to, but the next time it occurs again.
what i’ve done so far:
I checked the purge valve and it doesnt leak and opens after the engine starts. I also disconnected it and used a smoke machine and the smoke came out of the bleeding valve of the charcoal canister.
I checked xentry diagnostics and noticed that there is no pressure in the fuel tank.
What i also tried is that i blocked the bleeding/ventilation hose and used the smoke machine again. This time there was pressure but no smoke to be seen.
i would suspect that there would be a ventilation valve, but its nowhere to be seen.
