Hi !

H&R springs respond really well with the CLA45 so are a great low cost option.

From there you can go to full coil over suspension, KW Variant 3 or H&R make great sets.

Hope that helps,

saw the KW VARIANT 3 was about $2300 plus install. how much are the H & R springs and is that sufficient in the lowering quest?
thx

Hi,

It depends on your location, if you are state side give Vivid Racing a shout as they can provide them. If you are elsewhere in the world let me know and we can arrange them for you.

Here is a picture of one of our A45s on H&R Springs with Vossen VFS2's

thx for the info.
so it'll be just fine using the springs rather than the KW VARIANT 3 coil over
rather spend $300 than $2500...lol

Oh yes the H&Rs are more than adequate for a daily driver and occasional track use.

We have seen no signs of issues with using them alongside stock dampers

I've tried both the H&R sport springs with stock dampers and find them a little too firm on rough roads. I've swtched to PSS10 coilovers which are just right.

Haven't seen the PSS10 kit available in the US.

Only the B14 PSS kit.

simple argument 300 vs. 2k
300 springs win in this situation i believe, unless you're trying to build a spec race car lol

Mercedes A45 Amg
Failure to solve the problem of slow speed maneuvers, much less the severe problem of the springs tying the links (in each other) in the undulations of the streets, which makes the vehicle EXTREMELY UNBEATABLE AND DANGEROUS. Note: I rode less than 400 Km. Code H & R 28858-3 = - 1 pol. Car A45 (W176)
Forgive my English.
