A Class saloon
A250 Engine issues and major production delays?

Anyone here ordered the a250 saloon/sedan? Im in the UK and was hoping for a March delivery but had no updates and my lease company are being useless. Had a call a few days ago saying it might be pushed back to September from March!

Read on forums of a production delay due to an engine fault?

I had another Check Engine Light. Checked the codes and this is what it shows:
  1. P0016 - Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor A)
  2. P0014 - "B" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1)
  3. P0011 - "A" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1)
I will have some answers this afternoon - going back to the dealership :-(

if you can, record a video, and post on YouTube, showing people the problem, and this will make sure the dealer fix your problem, and people in MB will see this, help them to fix this

The car is at the dealership now. When I left, the technician was talking with Mercedes Canada. I also wrote the Customer dept. to let them know.

I will post when I'll have more information.

I talked with the service dept today. The engine needs to be replace ... The dealer should receive the new engine sometime next week.
