Raining today and the driver side wiper sporadically hits the frame of the car; there's a dull thunk when it happens. Anyone experience this?
It mostly happens when I'm stopped or driving slowly (so intermittent wiper speed).

Haven't got my car yet but thanks for the heads up, I'll test that before driving it out of the lot.

Did you figure out why and was it resolved? Mine just start having this problem after 6 months.
They replaced the wiper arm and "made adjustments". In case it matters, mine was doing it from day 1. Regardless, I'd still take it in to have the dealer check it out. It may be obvious but I didn't like the fact the wiper blade was probably damaging itself by hitting the frame. The frame itself may have eventually gotten scratched. And it was plain old annoying.

Thank you for the information! In my case, the driver side wiper hits the black plastic trim on A-pillar when doing intermittent or slow swipe. It does not hit when doing fast swipe.Originally Posted by Roger8

So, it is plastic wiper blade hitting black plastic trim. Still annoying AF.
