My wife had the steering wheel air bag replaced recently as a result of a warranty recall. The car is an A200, W169, 2006 model.
The interior is in as new condition so I was somewhat dismayed to see very obvious "creases" on the replacement air bag cover adjacent to the steering wheel spokes on either side running up and down at a slight angle under the horn icons.
The creases are really obvious when light comes from the side but not so if you look straight at them.
I am sure the original cover had no marks or creases but when I returned to the Mercedes agent I was informed that is how they are. Am I being too picky? Has anyone else seen marks like this?
