I think that the E-class (or whatever it is called in the future) won't get it until the next real redesign. Unfortunately, I doubt benz will update the firmware in our existing E-class to make that a feature in the future, so I'm stuck looking for a good permanent workaround solution. Plugging in my iPhone isn't hard, it just seems old fashioned given how convenient wireless CarPlay is.
But now I found an adapter (check the link) its functions are very interesting and the price is not expensive. Great design.

Yep, it's stable. I did the update on carlinkit and it worked fine and the update was great and fixed all the issues I was having. I have a love relationship with it.

You might want to post your question in the E class section of the forum in order to get responses from people who own the same car you do. You've posted your question in the A class section wheich is a different car from your car.
