A220 Smell
I bought a used 2019 A220 for my daughter to drive and it’s been great but I noticed a strange smell mostly coming from the trunk. Tried 2 rounds with ozone machine and no luck. Kinda like a waxy crayon or paint smell. Anyway, I took apart the whole trunk and found the source. Some sort of grease. On both sides of the car. Definitely from the factory. I scooped as much out as I could and I would say I have a 60% improvement in smell. Does anyone know what this is? Any other places that I should look for it?

It looks to me like it might possibly be cosmoline which is a protectant.
