W177 ST suspension upgrade. German quality, through and through.
From the beginning of time, mankind has been looking for the answer to one particular question: "How can I have German quality, but without breaking the bank ?"
Seriously though, ST suspensions (also made by KW) are a brilliant case of value for money, a good quality upgrade but at a fraction of the price, compared to Bilstein, KW, etc.
The W177 A250 in the photos below was treated with such an upgrade, namely the ST XA version, which is equivalent with a KW V2. It's what we commonly call a "coil suspension".
Height (30mm-50mm) and rebound damping (16 individual clicks) are adjustable, so it can fit various different needs, or driving styles.
Considering fine tuning and test drive, the installation shouldn't take longer than a few hours, so plan your time properly.
