It means you turned off active brake assist.

Sorry about that I might not be able to help as I am not familiar with settings on your vehicle. MBs have different ways to set things across models, hopefully you could find the information online based on your model and/or from the operator's manual.

Its the brake assist fucntion. It will warn you when you forget to brake, are about to rear end someone.
