Shift intention of ACS

Shift intention of ACS

A-class ACS (Automatic Clutch System) being discuss ;
may i know how does ""shift intention"" of gear being recognised to ACS for actuating the clutch automatically.

anybody can explain pls..

Normally They have several sensors. Throttle movement speed , gear position, gear lever movement torque sensor . So they know exactly when you want to engage or disengage the clutch for example you lift off the throttle and try to move the shift knob it will disengaging the clutch. After the new gear position is confirmed you depress the throttle the clutch then engage again.
