Good for the canadians!
I once had a A-class for loaner. It wasn't THAT bad.
In Europe the A-class can be considered to be a genious move from MB. Lots of people that never would think of owning a MB (because of high pricing) now drives a car with a star. Not only is this good for MB in terms of sales-VOLUME, but the A-class has also served MB well as a "break in"-model for other, more expensive models. When people have traded their A for a bigger car, it has in many cases showed that their new car is also a MB.
MB's strategy has worked out very well with the A-class!
