SRS fault

I have a A Class W169 in UK where I’m getting SRS fault light. I have checked all the usual connections and everything seems to be seated correctly.

After resetting the SRS code using icarsoft I’m getting the code for A54/1. Can someone advise where this component is (I think it’s the driver seat side airbag)?

9014 1/1
State: Current
Component A54/1(Right side airbag and window airbag sensor) is defective

Without being there to test components, I would say it could be something to do with the crash sensor in the RH door, I would be checking the continuity of the wiring from the pillar to inside the door, as the drivers door is the most opened door, there could be some broken wires that go through the pillar and into the door, you could also check the resistance of the crash sensor while you are in there to see if its faulty with an ohm's meter, if you get a reading its working, if its open circuit you wont get any reading

You might find the sensor and the RH seat airbag are on the same circuit, this would give you the code as both when it could be only the sensor.

I would start here and progress to other things depending on what you find.

Good luck
