'14 GLK250 Diesel
There will be no A in the USA - only the B
The B-class will be the only A-based car sold in the USA . It will be displayed officially at the Detroit show, but given the weakness of the dollar, I doubt seriously that they will announce any official prices until actual release, which will be in the fourth quarter of '05 as an '06 model.
Speculation is that the B will be priced to start somewhere in the low to mid '20s, say $24k or so for a B200, and not exceeding $30k for a loaded B200 turbo. I'd like to see the diesel here, but if it happens at all, it won't be until the '07 model year after low-sulfur diesel fuel becomes the national standard.

The pano roof shown on the concept car probably won't make it to production - the rest of the show car is likely to be pretty close to the production car. MBUSA's website also has info on the B.
