W176 APPLE CAR PLAY NOT WORKING
So I have an A Class 2016 - W176 and have been having CARPLAY issues for 4 months, my USBs were only charging my devices but Apple CarPlay would not work. I have reset my infotainment system several times and no luck.
Today I manage to fix the problem!
I went on AliExpress and purchased A1728201600 for Mercedes-Benz (£20 brand new on AliExpress, £120 for a used one on eBay). It took around 2-3 weeks for the item to arrive, I then took apart the one that was in my car, you have to fiddle about with it. I replaced it with the part I purchased on AliExpress, reset the infotainment system and everything started working perfectly.
It has only been a few days but so far so good and saved £££s. Give that a try if you are having similar problems.
