Coolant temp drops when accelerating
Hi everyone,
Bit of a strange issue which I think is pointing to the thermostat.
When just cruising around town at 30mph the coolant temp sits nicely at 90 which it always has. However when accelerating a bit harder on dual carriageways ect the coolant temp drops down to 50/60, then when coming off the throttle goes back to 90 as per. The car never used to do this. I’ve heard the thermostats on the 2.0 engines can go and is common? Car is w176 A250 2017 50k miles.
Thanks
